マークエステル様奉納神事
題：「天照大神の寛大な愛」
厳しい暑さが続いております。
皆様、くれぐれも体調管理には、お気を付け下さい。
さて、今月１６日（木）の１１時から、フランスの画家マークエステル・スキャルシャフィキ様の絵の奉納神事が執り行われました。
マークエステル様は、１９４３年にパリで生まれ、パリ大学にて経済学学士号を取得。
たくさんの個展を開かれ、２００７年には外国人初の文化奨励賞を受賞されております。
さらに活動は幅広く、絵だけではなく版画やガラス工芸などもされておられるそうです。
また、独学で日本語を勉強されるなか、偶然手に取られた本に、日本の神話「古事記」があり、それから神話を題材にした作品を多く描かれるようになったそうです。
実際、ご本人にお会いした時、あまりに流暢な日本語をお話になられるので、とても驚きました。
これまで、たくさんの神社に神話にまつわる絵画を奉納され、御縁があり今回当神社に奉納していただくこととなりました。
当日は、お清めの雨をいただくなか、マークエステル様のファンの方が大勢集まられました。
神事が終わった後、宮司がさざれ石や鵜戸神社などの説明をされるのを熱心に聞かれておられたのが印象的でした。
今回奉納いただきました絵は、皆様にご覧いただける所に飾る予定です。
